Cyril Boombl4 Mikhailov and Alexander s1mple Kostylev commented on the victory of Natus Vincere at IEM Katowice 2020 in CS: GO. In a vlog from the final matches of the championship, Mikhailov noted that the team won thanks to good preparation, and Kostylev noted the high level of the game of his teammates.
Boombl4 added that the main goal of NAVI was to show a decent result. As a result, the team did not lose a single card in the playoffs.
“I can say that we just wanted to show the maximum. No one was sure that we would win this tournament. We really worked every day, and we managed to score some unreal individual form – everyone got to the playoffs. Felt a team game, work on the bugs. We were able to win. This is a very cool feeling. We did not give a single card in the playoffs – in general we did not lose a single card. This is a major achievement. ”
S1mple added that for the first time in a long time, he was able to calmly watch the highlights of his teammates. He added that winning such a championship is a very important achievement.
“I am very happy because my team plays very cool. For a long time there was no such feeling when you sit chill, and your team makes highlights. One player never played on the big stage at all – dies zero times in the Intel Extreme Masters Grand Final, which only three teams won in CS: GO: Astralis, Fnatic and Virtus.pro. It’s great that our name and the name of our organization will be written out under 2020. I just want us to play the same way, not relax, work every day. A lot of victories await us. ”
IEM Katowice 2020 was held from February 24 to March 1 in Poland. In the finals of the championship, Natus Vincere beat G2 Esports with a score of 3: 0 and earned $ 250 thousand.
