OverDrive: “Winstrike has problems with funding the CS:GO team”

Insider Alexey OverDrive Biryukov spoke about the financial problems at Winstrike Team. On Twitter, he noted that the organization does not carry out transfers to CS: GO. Cybersport.ru asked Winstrike CEO Yaroslav Komkov for a comment.

OverDrive:
“Winstrike players are paid once every three months, the organization avoids any transfers, the club waited until the contracts for Krad and Forester expired. I don’t even know how the new players agreed to such conditions… When I said “once every three months,” I didn’t mean specific terms. I wanted to say that the organization has problems with financing the team in CS:GO”.

On January 16, former Hard Legion Esports players Vladislav Krad Kravchenko and Igor Forester Bezotechesky joined the Winstrike Team in CS: GO. According to OverDrive, the parties agreed to cooperate even before the New Year holidays, but Winstrike did not issue the transfer. The club decided to wait for the players to run out of contracts with the Hard Legion in January.

Winstrike Team roster manager Umar Chamaev spoke about the organization’s alleged financial problems. In a commentary for Cybersport.ru, he stated that the club is doing well – the salary obligations to the players of the CS: GO roster will be fulfilled.

Winstrike Team Squad Manager:
“Everything is in order, everything will be paid without problems, we do not comment on transfer issues. The team has new management and greater independence, the direction has long been in need of restructuring. We will present the new format and plans in more detail at the end of February. “
