The developer of cheat programs for CS: GO questioned the effectiveness of the “trust” mode – Valve’s new approach to the fight against dishonest players. The commentary from the software manufacturer was taken by the portal Gameinside.ua.
“This update did not affect the cheats in any way. Now more advanced methods of loading cheat into the game have been used for a long time. This update would make life harder for cheaters if it came out about five years ago.
Also, this trust mode works quite specifically. Valve has not added integrity checks to this mode, and therefore it can be disabled without any problems.
This is not to say that Valve did not succeed, they fulfilled the task, and they did not badly. But this is not enough to really protect yourself from cheaters. “
According to the cheat manufacturer, Valve is not going to eradicate cheating in CS: GO. Instead, the company continues to distance the two types of players (cheaters and honest ones) from each other, which, according to the soft maker, is the most appropriate move. “Cheats will be always and everywhere,” he summed up.
On July 9, a patch was released in CS: GO, with which Trust Factor appeared in the main shooter client. This mode blocks third-party files and programs that interact with the game.
