Astralis CS: GO coach Danny zonic Sorensen told what good happened to him in 2020. According to the Dane, thanks to quarantine and self-isolation, he began to spend more time with his family. Sorensen also recalled that the esports industry has weathered the pandemic better than many other sports.
“People call 2020 a terrible year, and I agree with them a lot. However, in my opinion, there were also many good moments this year. Since becoming a coach in 2015, I have never had the opportunity to spend as much time with my family as I do now.
Looking at other sports, I am very glad that we were able to continue our favorite business. I want to thank all of our fans for supporting us during the difficult times for Astralis, as well as all the sponsors who stayed with us in this very unpredictable year.
We started the year at the first place in the world rankings and ended it there. I am incredibly proud of all the members of our team. Happy New Year to all of you, and see you next year! ”
Earlier, zonic was named the best coach of the year according to The Game Awards 2020. Astralis’ CS: GO mentor beat colleagues from Overwatch, Call of Duty and League of Legends.
