Hundreds of CS: GO players lost access to matchmaking due to VAC bug

CS: GO users complained about problems with VAC. For many gamers, the anti-cheat cannot find the necessary game files, because of this, the opportunity to participate in matchmaking is blocked. This was reported by reddit users.

The problem surfaced on the morning of August 6th. At the time of publication of the news, the error with the VAC has not been fixed. Some gamers said that reinstalling CS: GO helped them, while others recommended moving the SteamService.exe file to C: \ Program Files (x86) \ commonfiles \ steam. Valve has yet to comment on the VAC issue.

On July 30, Valve released an update for CS: GO that improved the game’s performance and made changes to the Mutiny map. The developers have also fixed some bugs and shortcomings.
