Astralis CS:GO squad captain Lucas gla1ve Rossander told how he helps the team without playing in official matches. He stated that he started working with coach Danny zonic Sorensen, as well as overseeing the newcomers to the team.
“Since I’m not in the starting lineup, I try to work as much as possible with Danny [zonic] as his assistant. I try to use my knowledge for the good of the team. I am not preparing new tactics, but I am fixing small problems in their playing system. ”
Gla1ve added that this approach to working with the team will also help him get back into the lineup faster. In addition, he will be able to get acquainted with Astralis newcomers in absentia.
“I follow Danny’s game together and if I notice something important, I can write it down and pass it on to the team after the match, or express it at the same time if necessary. In fact, this approach is useful for me as well. Firstly, it will be easier for me to return to the team by looking at its game from the outside – what tactics work, what needs to be changed, and so on. Secondly, I look at our new players – es3tag and Bubzkji. This way I can understand how they play and how they can better fit into the team. ”
Gla1ve left the main Astralis roster in May 2020 – the player went on vacation due to stress and emotional burnout. In early August, the club announced that Rossander had returned to teamwork, but the roster captain missed ESL One Cologne 2020 Online.
