Gambit Youngsters’ CS: GO coach Ivan F_1N Kochugov responded to accusations of using a camera bug in an official match. He admitted that he really misused this vulnerability during one map against AGO, which was eventually won by the Polish team. According to F_1N, all of Gambit Youngsters’ tournament achievements were earned without using a bug, in a fair fight.
“On February 17, 2020, I first encountered a coaching camera bug in a match against AGO at OGA Counter Pit Season 7. Six months ago, few people knew about this error, including me. It happened on the Dust2 map.
After winning the first map, I realized the seriousness of this situation and did not use the bug on the second and third maps. We lost that match.
I want to emphasize that I have not used this bug since that game. I am ready to take part in the investigation of all my matches in order to prove it. I also want to emphasize that my team’s achievements were earned honestly and on a competitive basis.
I would like to apologize to AGO fans and the CS: GO community in general. I sincerely regret this and am ready to receive just punishment for my actions. “
On September 4, former professional Counter-Strike player Boris watti Litvyakov suspected Kochugov of using a bug with observer mode in CS: GO. Using a special script, he managed to find the Gambit Youngsters match, in which, as Litvyakov suggests, the Russian club’s mentor took advantage of the vulnerability.

According to watti, Kochugov used a bug in the Gambit Youngsters vs AGO match, which took place as part of the OGA Counter PIT by AMD and Sapphire Season 7 in February 2020. The former esportsman noted that he could not find any other cases where F_1N used the vulnerability.
Earlier ESL and DreamHack banned Heroic, MIBR and Hard Legion Esports coaches at their tournaments for using a bug with observer mode in CS: GO. The teams were disqualified from their respective championships and forfeited prize money.
