ESL Announces Pro League CS-GO Season 12

ESL announces the start date of the Pro League season 12 for CS: GO. The championship will be held from September 2 to 30 – the tournament operator plans to hold a competition on the LAN, but in the absence of such an opportunity, he is ready to transfer the matches online.

ESL Pro League Season 12 will feature 24 teams – 13 league partners, three invited teams, qualifying winners and Mountain Dew League. If, by the beginning of the tournament, participants still cannot reach the venue of the LAN event, the organizers will hold separate regional championships for the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

At the LAN tournament, participants will be sown in four groups of six teams. The best teams will compete for places in the semi and quarter finals, and the teams from second and third places will start the fight from the first of five rounds in the single-elimination format.

Qualifiers for ESL Pro League Season 12 will be held online – separately for each region. In Europe, 12 teams will compete for two slots in the main part of the tournament, including Virtus.pro, Team Spirit, forZe and HellRaisers.

The previous championship of the series was divided into two divisions – for Europe and North America. The winners of the competition were Fnatic and Team Liquid, respectively. The total prize pool of ESL Pro League Season 11 amounted to $ 750 thousand.
