CEO forZe on the victory over NAVI: “Everything was clear about the game”

ForZe CEO Sergey MegioN Ignatko commented on the victory of the CS: GO roster over Natus Vincere at IEM New York Online 2020 for the CIS. On Twitter, he praised the roster members and also thanked fans for their support.

The match ended 2: 0 in favor of forZe – 16:12 on Inferno and 16: 9 on Dust2. Thanks to this victory, the Russian club secured an exit to the next stage of the tournament.

On October 18, Ilya Perfecto Zalutsky announced that he was diagnosed with a coronavirus. For this reason, the organizers of IEM New York 2020 have postponed the match between Natus Vincere and forZe. After that, forZe representatives stated that they found out about the decision 30 minutes before the start of the series, and accused ESL of using double standards and disrespect for the teams. At the same time, the head of the club did not deny that the team would agree to postpone the meeting if they had turned to him with such a request.

Shortly thereafter, Perfecto was spotted playing CS: GO. Zalutsky said that then only briefly went into the shooter, which cannot be compared with performing in a full-fledged professional match.

ForZe CS: GO roster Andrey Jerry Mekhryakov commented on his team’s victory over Natus Vincere at IEM New York Online 2020 for the CIS. The cybersportsman thanked the fans who “adequately” perceived the situation with the postponement of the match. Mekhryakov wrote about this in a group on VKontakte.

Jerry:
“Gg, won 2-0 Navi and thus secured the playoffs. On behalf of the team and on my own behalf, I want to thank the CS: GO fans and, separately, forZe fans, who adequately assessed the current situation. It’s nice that in our community there are still people who root for a beautiful and honest CS.”
