Buster: “We only had one day off per week during these three months”

Virtus.pro CS: GO roster member Timur Buster Tulepov told about the pace at which the team trained over the past months. In an interview with Maincast, the esportsman also commented on the victory over K23 in his debut match at IEM New York 2020.

Virtus.pro defeated K23 with a score of 2: 1. The team received a technical defeat on the first map – the team did not have time for it, since they were simultaneously playing qualifiers at Flashpoint Season 2. On the decisive map, VP gave up a 2v1 clutch against Rustem mou Telepov, but this did not affect the team’s morale:

Buster:
“We have already given so much during these four months, we have played so many practices, there were no officials. We were not surprised at all, we just started playing further. We made mistakes in the second half at Inferno, we relaxed. “

As Buster admits, Virtus.pro has had almost no days off in recent months:

“Before that, we played almost every day. We had only one day off a week in the three months since I returned. There was a break of 4-5 days once. The guys helped me quickly adapt to everything, I just needed to improve my individual skill. “

IEM New York 2020 is the last tournament in the RMR series. If Valve does not announce additional championships, then according to the results of the championship, all participants of the next major from the CIS will be determined
